Burberry and Bucket Style and Other Summer Hats

As the temperature starts to rise and the days grow longer the need for protection against UV rays becomes more necessary. While it’s great to hang out in the sun and enjoy the vitamin D it is important to protect your skin from sun damage. Sunscreen is the best method to protect your skin but adding another layer of protection never hurt anyone. Especially when the second option can tie your outfit together or is the main focal point of your outfits, such as hats can be. So let’s take a look at some of the options we have to offer at our 2nd Street location in Costa Mesa.

The Miami Beach Logo

The first option we have is a white cloth snap back featuring a purple Miami Beach logo. This hat would go great with an all white tennis outfit and would provide a little bit of color due to the logo. This hat would be at home paired with an outfit that involves any outdoor activity. It’s the type of hat that pairs well with adventure and boldness just like the city of Miami Beach embodies. The light stains on this hat show it has a story and a history of being used to explore, which only adds to the overall mood the hat sets.

The Sailor Style

This next option is a classic hat for this area in particular. While these hats do get reinvented every few years, this sailor style hat has always been common for southern coastal cities and has been popularized by companies like Brixton. Especially in cities like Costa Mesa, there are no shortages of people wearing this style of hat. And what’s not to love they are stylish, diverse, and are perfect for almost all seasons if you dress them properly. So get your beachy hat here and sail into some new looks.

The Classic Sun

For the third option, we have a classic sun hat. This type of hat is perfect for a relaxing day at the beach. You’ll be able to hang out in the sun all day because you’ll have maximum protection from the sun and wind. Now, this bucket hat has style! It’s the perfect olive green color, however, it has a holographic and reflective quality to it, so the color changes depending on the light. For my last pick, I decided to go in a different direction. This may not seem like the ideal summer hat for some, however, looks can be deceiving. The browns and tans in the hats coloring indicate the leaves are dead or have just fallen. In most areas, this beanie would be considered a summer hat due to the colors matching the landscape during the summertime. You would be unable to camouflage yourself in the winter as the leaves would be green and flourishing. So if you want to blend into your surroundings and have a successful hunting season (if that’s what you are into) this hat is for you.
